In the heart of Água Travessa, amidst serene landscapes and vibrant nature, stands L'École, a refuge that combines tradition and modernity.

The building, once a primary school, has been reborn as a welcoming Eco Resort, where every space tells a story and every detail reflects a deep respect for the environment.

At the forefront of this project are Delphine, a young Parisian city dweller, and Sérgio, a native of the region, who decided to transform this place into a unique destination of tranquility and flavor.

L'École's cuisine has a special touch thanks to grandparents Joaquim Rato and Leonilde Nunes Ribeiro, who lovingly cultivate the vegetables that give soul to the restaurant's cuisine.

More than just a retreat, L'École is an invitation to slow down, connect with nature and savor the authenticity of the land.

CHEF MIGUEL OLIVEIRA MARQUES

With a cuisine that reflects his roots and childhood memories in Ribatejo, he grew up watching his grandmother, an excellent cook, transform simple ingredients into true delicacies, while his grandfather, a hunter, brought authentic countryside flavors to the table.

This connection to tradition is present in each dish he created for this menu, where he values regional products and the excellence of national ingredients, respecting the authenticity of flavors and combining them with modern techniques.

The result?

A cuisine that honors the Ribatejo tradition!
